(courtesy of  Fix-It and Forget-It Recipes for Entertaining cook book)

2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
2Tbsp Parmesan cheese
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound bulk pork sausage

1 15 oz can tomato sauce
1 6 oz can of tomato paste
1 small onion chopped
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 red wine or beef broth
1/3 cup water
2 minced garlic cloves
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp sugar

1. Make meatballs by combining eggs and milk. Add breadcrumbs cheese and seasonings. Add meats. Mix well. Shape into 1” balls. Broil or sauté until browned. Put into slow cooker.
2. Combine sauce ingredients. Pour over meatballs.
3. Cover. Cook on low 4-6 hours.
4. Serve on rolls with sides of choice!

My changes or additions:
1. I used ground chicken breast instead of suggested meats! They are fabulous!
2. I always add extra breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese!
3. I make bigger meatballs!
4. I made my OWN homemade rolls (omg delicious!) to serve meatballs on!
5. Next time, I will add more salt. Ground chicken needs more salt!
6. I served with our favorite, sautéed spinach!

Enjoy the recipe and our pictures! :)
